I'll see you when you're dead
- **Trigger warning for allistic bigotry ahead**
- Me: I don't actually want to hang the curtains with dad.
- Mum: You can hold something for him at least.
- Me: I'm ill and I'm tired, I don't want to do it today.
- Mum: You don't want to do anything ever!
- Me: That's often the case.
- Mum: So you haven't got better at all.
- Me: Why do I have to get better? Why can't I just be me?
- Mum: I thought you weren't going to blame it on your illness anymore.
- Me: It seems you will all accept I'm autistic as long as you don't have to treat me any differently. You just make me feel like a fucking idiot for not being able to do things.
- Mum: You know we're only teasing you.
- Me: I'm not taught to say no, that's why I didn't say no [to dad about hanging the curtains]. I'm not taught to have boundaries. Instead I'm forced to do horrible and stressful things all the time because I 'have to'.
- Mum: Oh go and lock yourself in your room then, I'll see you when you're dead.
- Me: Okay, cool! That's brilliant, thanks *goes to room*
