Q:I have another aspie question if it's not a bother ._. Do you have any thoughts on the aspergers 'symptom' of monotone speaking? Is it really that common? I'm really flamboyant in my speech and not monotone at all.
I tend to speak far more quietly and more monotone when I’m depressed or anxious. Usually I use quite a lot of intonation, but I’m not sure how much it is for other people’s benefit. I don’t know how common it is.
What does anyone else want to say on the matter?

My parents say I speak monotone as well, and it tends to coincide with depression anxiety. I haven’t been diagnosed, however.
